About the class

Class 6b is a bi-lingual class consisting of 17 students. The languages of instructions are 50% English and 50% Swedish. The children hail mainly from families with one parent from an Anglophone country and another from Sweden. The children predominantly speak English during their free times.
The multicultural diversity makes the class a stimulating environment for children enhancing fruitful ,cultural and academic exchange. The class is a part of Grade 6a and 6c located strategically adjacent to one another enabling easy cooperation, interaction and application of similar routines.

Before entry to classes the teachers of the 6th grade classes have a ceremonial welcome to the children into the classroom. This gesture is an opportunity for the teachers not only to warmly welcome the children to the class but also to identify that all children are in a receptive mood for studies.
