The
Parental Conferences are coming to an end. The parents have expressed genuine concerns.
Biology
A worksheet
has been issued for children to revise for the test on Thursday. Children have
been urged to take their Biology text books homes including English notes.
The
children are encouraged to check on the links on the blog too.
Mathematics
The test
results for Mathematics will be issued on Tuesday. The children will start
studying Geometry.
English
Most
children have completed reading Boy by Roahl Dahl. The autobiographies will be
published next week.
The
children will start reading Goodnight Mister Tom by Michelle Magorian. They
will also be “scaffolded” to descriptive writing.
Evacuation Exercise
The
children will undergo an evacuation training in order to act in the right way
during a major emergency.
This will
require all adults in school leading the children to Emmanuelkyrkan.
SO/Swedish
I veckan har
barnen fått börja planera vilket europeiskt land de ska skriva faktatext om och
vi har pratat om på vilket sätt vi ska samla information till och planera dessa
texter. När faktatexterna är klara kommer de att läsas för fadderbarnen.
På SO-lektionerna
har vi arbetat med kristendom samt repeterat likheter mellan de tre
religionerna. I torsdags hade vi en multireligös guide från studieförbundet
SENSUS på besök. Det pratades om och visades föremål kopplade till de
Abrahamitiska religionerna. Spännande och uppskattat!
